Stay for the races that evening! A race will be named after the IQHA, and a trophy will be presented by the IQHA to the winning team!

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to own a quarter horse that races at Prairie Meadows, take a look at these videos. We took our cameras backside so you could meet some of the trainers and see the work they do to prepare their quarter horses for race day. Our first two videos feature stakes race winners Manny Campos and Ed Hardy. Manny has been racing at Prairie Meadows for 10 years and Ed Hardy for 19 years.

IDALS will be moving from the Wallace Building to the Hoover Building during the 2025 racing season.
When possible, encourage members to mail in applications early as they will need to allow up to ten working days for processing. Appointments are required for all applications being dropped off. Applicants that do not have an appointment will not be able to drop off applications.
When applications are dropped off by appointment; the application will be added to the processing queue, processed by date of receipt, and emailed or mailed out upon completion.(i.e.- Applications will no longer be processed while individuals wait.)
